I don't like grumbling but there are two things bugging me recently...so might aswell share (plus being ill gives me license to grumble)
1) Why oh why oh why on freezable foods do they not give you cooking time from frozen? I never know what I want to eat until the very last minute and then I get it out and it turns out I was meant to have decided 5 bazillion years ago in order to give it time to defrost...shocking

AND

2)Have you seen the alternative U.S. ending to the new Pride and Prejudice film...shocking!!! That's certainly a) not Jane Austen like b) not in the book and c) not even that romantic. However Pride and Prejudice is still wonderful and the ultimate chick flick. AND in the bonus features there is a section on 18th Century dating... so now I'm all clued up...just got to build a time machine and go back to that time...when everything was simple.

On the ill issue, I have finally given in and booked an appointment at Cripps to find out what's really wrong. The fact that phone diagnosis ranged from Glandular fever to viral throat infection to flu (which it definately isn't) is slightly disconcerting...let's try a face to face diagnosis with Dr Baker...which makes me laugh because he has two professions in one name...I've just realised how easily amused I am...I should become Dr Cook then that would be amusement for life.
